From Mountains to Motherhood

The mountains and river run though my blood. Growing up in Northwest Montana, there wasn't a season that we didn't find ourselves outside, recreating year round skiing, biking, running, canoeing and everything in between. My earliest memories are of water swirling around a canoe blade and the sun sparkling through snowflakes falling down from the pine bows-though not at the same time. To say the least, I'm most happy exploring ridgelines and waking up in the middle of the night for dawn patrol.

My foray into photography began when I became a mother and realized how quicky children grow. I don't want to ever forget the way my babies fingers curled around mine as we hiked up the trail, or the way their eyes glint with mischief and confidence as they glissade down the snowfields above me. Over the past several years, I've fallen in love with capturing the little moments that make life abundantly rich and I'd be honored to capture those moments for you. From the tops of mountains, through the vast wildernesses and the winding rivers, I'll follow you to capture the memories that mean the most.
